Teams
The Teams feature lets multiple users within the same organization collaborate under a shared subscription plan while maintaining individual Coresignal accounts. It’s designed to streamline teamwork by allowing members to join the same team and access pooled resources, with clear management options and role-based permissions.
Team structure
Each company can have up to five separate teams, each with its own subscription plan. These teams function independently, with usage and credits limited to the specific team they belong to.
Roles in a team
Team owner
The team owner holds administrative privileges. They can:
Add or remove team members
Send invitations and approve membership requests
Manage the team’s subscription plan
A user becomes a team owner under one of the following conditions:
They were the first to register under the company domain (even without a subscription)
They were the first to purchase a subscription under the domain
They created a new team
Ownership cannot be transferred directly through the interface. If a team owner needs to be changed, create a new team or contact us.
Team members
Team members can:
Join or leave teams
Use shared subscription credits
Create new teams
However, they cannot manage the subscription or add/remove other members.
Team types
There are two types of teams, defined by how users can join:
Closed Team: Requires approval to join. Members can be invited or request access.
Open Team: Any user with an email from the same company domain can join freely, without needing approval.

Managing teams
Inviting members to a closed team
To invite someone:
Go to the Members section in your account settings
Choose the team
Click Invite members
Enter one or more email addresses from your company domain
Invited users will receive an email to accept or decline the invitation.
Joining a team
To request access to a team:
Go to the Teams section and select Create or join team
You'll see a list of teams available to you
Submit a request and wait for approval from the team owner
You can also access this option from the drop-down menu in your account avatar or the top-left corner of the dashboard.
Approving membership requests
Team owners can manage requests in the Requests tab of the Teams section. Each request can be approved or declined individually.
Removing a member
To remove a member:
Go to the Members section
Click the three-dot menu next to their name
Select Remove and confirm
This revokes their access to the shared subscription and team history.
Leaving a team
Team members (not the owners) can leave a team anytime:
Go to the Teams section
Click Leave next to the team name
Confirm the action
Once you leave, you lose access to the team’s subscription. To rejoin, you’ll need to request access again.
Deleting a team
To delete an existing team, contact us directly.
