Data

API

  • The Multi-source Company Data and Multi-source Company API have been updated across all formats starting with the July 2025 delivery. This release introduces breaking schema changes and critical bug fixes.

  • 🆕 Employee Posts Data and Employee Posts API have been introduced in all formats, enabling high-performance access and search of employee-generated content.

June 2025

  • Craft Company data introduces an improvement for one data field, a data type change.

  • The June 2025 Multi-source Company data and Multi-source Company API update introduces new job and logo fields, standardizes currency formats across financial data, updates data types for consistency, and removes a deprecated job title field. These changes improve data clarity, structure, and usability across all formats.

  • We’ve implemented major updates to summary data quality, deduplication handling, and legacy-to-current dataset migration. These changes improve data clarity, consistency, and completeness across all Employee dataset variants.

  • In June 2025, several critical updates were rolled out across multiple APIs to improve Bulk Collect functionality, streamline schema consistency, and enhance integration flexibility. Key changes include: new Bulk Collect endpoints added for both Base and Clean Employee APIs, a new Location response header was introduced to improve tracking of result files, breaking schema changes were applied to the Clean Employee and Job Posting APIs and file delivery naming conventions were updated for greater organization and clarity.

  • To improve result prioritization and relevance, Company APIs now support advanced sorting across a wide range of numerical fields.

  • We are renaming Base Company API shorthand_name field used in Elasticsearch operations.

May 2025

  • Starting with the May 2025 delivery, the Clean Employee Data dataset and Clean Employee API include new fields and collections, along with improvements to experience aggregation and HTML cleaning across descriptions. These changes enhance data clarity and freshness across all formats.

  • This Multi-source Company data and Multi-source Company API release introduces new inferred employee count fields, improves executive data quality, resolves key bugs, and applies a consistent three-year rolling window to time-based fields. These enhancements improve data accuracy, usability, and alignment across all formats.

  • We are adding a new query parameter ?items_per_page={int}, allowing you to specify the number of results retrieved per Search results page.

April 2025

  • The April 2025 update to the Multi-source Employee Data introduces new fields to enhance profile identifiers, skill history tracking, and experience detail.

  • As part of a structural standardization effort, we are renaming the member_id field to parent_id across key executive data structures in the Multi-source Company dataset.

  • The April 2025 Employee dataset update introduces new identifiers in the experience and education structures to enhance cross-dataset linkage and traceability to professional network sources.

  • We're replacing the Employee API with the new Base Employee API, introducing an updated data structure, better deduplication logic, and improved performance. A 4-month transition period starts on April 9, 2025, with full deprecation of the Employee API by August 6, 2025.

  • Starting with the April 9, 2025 delivery, the Multi-source Employee API includes additional fields to support enriched identification and experience-level insights.

  • We are introducing a 10,000-profile limit for all Bulk Collect requests and updating the standard success response code from 200 to 201. These updates go into effect in April 2025 to improve consistency and system reliability.

  • Webhook event changes values have been renamed for improved clarity and consistency. These changes impact how clients interpret data changes via webhook payloads.

March 2025

  • We've streamlined the social media and website data in the Indeed Company dataset by replacing the multi-link structure with a single, definitive company website field.

  • Craft has deprecated public access to its News section, prompting the removal of all related fields from our dataset starting with the March 2025 release.

  • A new field has been added to the Clean Company Data to enhance profile URL consistency from professional network sources.

  • We are updating the schema for Base Employee Data to improve clarity and support internal operational tracking. This includes a key field rename, new field addition, and deprecation of redundant fields.

  • As of March 19, 2025, the default ordering logic for Search API responses has changed to prioritize freshness. Pagination headers and sorting input formats are also updated to align with this enhancement.

  • The Clean Employee API schema has been expanded with an additional date detail date_day field to enhance the accuracy of award-related timelines.

February 2025

  • The February 2025 update to the Multi-source Company dataset brings significant mapping improvements, enriched location and employee data, critical bug fixes, and a temporary drop in Company News data coverage due to third-party deprecation.

  • The News data category within the Multi-source Company API has been impacted by a third-party source deprecation, leading to reduced update frequency for related fields.
