You will be responsible for following plan-o-grams, maintaining signage and aesthetics standards, as well as assisting shoppers inside a big-box garden center. Responsibilities: Display plant material according to set standards Ensure safe construction and location of displays Set up, restock, and take down marketing displays - reorganizing as needed and refilling displays as shipments arrive Maintain and help sell plant material - includes watering, signing, & pruning Converse with customers as they request assistance and/or have questions Effectively communicate with supervisor, store employees, other service teams Keep a clean work area Qualifications: Previous experience in merchandising, retail/sales, customer service, horticulture, landscaping, or other related fields preferred Ability to handle physical workload - consistently lift and move up to 60 lbs. throughout the day Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Deadline and detail-oriented Excellent communication & organizational skills Able to work both independently and with others Minimum age of 18 Reliable transportation & valid driver's license Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 \u2013 35 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Kingston, NY 12401: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person",
